Abstrak

Pendahuluan : Tekanan  akademik  dalam sekolah yang tinggi dapat mempengaruhi  kesejahteraan emosional dan sosial remaja, sehingga mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas hidup mereka secara keseluruhan dan mempengaruhi kemampuan control diri remaja. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak stress terhadap kualitas hidup dan control diri pada remaja. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Cross secsional study. Sampel pada penelitian ini Adalah Sebagian siswi kelas XI berjumlah 225 orang menggunakan rumus Lemeshow dengan pertimbangan kesalahan 5%. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan acak sederhana. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Perceived Stress Scale (Pss), kuesioner WHOQOL-BREF dan kuesioner Self-control Competency Scale untuk menilai self control. Data dianalisis dengan aplikasi SPSS versi 16 dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: kondis stress responden paling banyak pada kategori sedang yaitu 188 orang (83.6%), kualitas hidup siswi lebih banyak pada kategori rendah yaitu 160 orang (71.1%) dan kontrol diriresponden  paling banyak pada kategori sedang yaitu 188 orang (83.6%). Terdapat hubungan antara stress dengan kualitas hidup remaja puteri (P=000 <0.05) dan Kontrol diri (P=0.000<0.05). Kesimpulan: Stres dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup dan control diri pada remaja puteri.
