Abstrak

Nyeri yang kerap dirasakan pada proses persalinan merupakan pengalaman umum yang dapat menimbulkan gangguan fisik dan psikologis pada Ibu bersalin. Hal tersebut membutuhkan penanganan yang efektif untuk memastikan persalinan yang berlangsung dengan lancar, salah satunya yaitu dengan menggunakan cara non-farmakologis yaitu endorphine massage. Endorphne massage yang diyakini dapat merangsang dan melepas endorfin tubuh secara alami sebagai analgesik. Metode ini merupakan pemijatan ringan yang dilakukan untuk menormalkan denyut jantung dan tekanan darah, sehingga Ibu bersalin dapat merasakan rileks dan perasaan yang nyaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik endorphne massage dalam menurunkan intensitas nyeri bersalin kala I. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen dengan pola satu kelompok yang diuji sebelum dan setelah intervensi dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 16 orang yang diambil melalui teknik consecutive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired T-test, ditemukan bahwa terdapat penurunan rata-rata intensitas nyeri persalinan kala I, dengan perolehan skor rata-rata nyeri adalah 7,40 sebelum melakukan intervensi dan menjadi 6,13 setelah intervensi. Intensitas nyeri ini diperoleh dari penggunaan alat ukur numeric rating scale. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa endorphine massage secara signifikan efektif dapat menurunkan nyeri persalinan kala I (p-value=0,001). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik endorphine massage dapat menjadi pilihan untuk membantu mengatasi nyeri saat persalinan.
