Analisis Risiko Paparan Kadmium dan Kromium Melalui Konsumsi Kerang Bakalang pada Kelompok Lanjut Usia di Lantebung, Makassar

Kerang Bakalang merupakan salah satu sumber protein penting bagi masyarakat pesisir, namun kontaminasi logam berat dapat menimbulkan risiko kesehatan, terutama pada kelompok lanjut usia yang rentan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis risiko kesehatan non-karsinogenik akibat paparan logam berat kadmium (Cd) dan kromium (Cr) melalui konsumsi kerang Bakalang oleh kelompok lanjut usia di perairan Lantebung, Kelurahan Bira. Data konsentrasi logam berat diperoleh melalui analisis laboratorium, sedangkan data konsumsi dan karakteristik responden dikumpulkan melalui survei langsung. Intake harian dihitung berdasarkan frekuensi dan durasi konsumsi, berat badan, dan waktu rata-rata. Nilai Risk Quotient (RQ) dihitung dengan membandingkan intake harian dengan dosis referensi (RfD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi rata-rata Cd sebesar 0,08 mg/kg dan Cr sebesar 1,04 mg/kg dalam kerang Bakalang. Nilai intake harian Cd dan Cr masing-masing sebesar 0,00392 mg/kg/hari dan 0,051 mg/kg/hari. Nilai RQ untuk Cd sebesar 3,92 dan Cr sebesar 17,0, yang mengindikasikan potensi risiko kesehatan yang signifikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konsumsi kerang Bakalang yang terkontaminasi logam berat Cd dan Cr berpotensi menimbulkan risiko kesehatan non-karsinogenik bagi kelompok lanjut usia di wilayah penelitian.
